The new convening committee of Dhaka city unit of Bangladesh National Awami Party (Bangladesh NAP) was announced on Friday. Syed Shahjahan Saju was made convener, while Morol Amzad Hossain and Md Shahidunnabi Dablu were made joint convener and member secretary respectively of the 31-member committee.
The committee was formed at a meeting of the party at its office at Nayapaltan in the city. Secretary general of Bangladesh NAP M Golam Mustafa Bhuiyan attended the programme as the chief guest with Ansar Rahman Shikder in the chair.
