Sajjadul Hassan, former senior secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), has been made the new chairman of the board of directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday.
Sajjadul Hassan confirmed on Tuesday about his new appointment.
The appointment was made as per the state-owned airlines’ Article of Association Section 38.
Sajjadul Hassan will be taking over from former Air Marshal (retd) Mohammad Enamul Bari, who served as the chairman for the board for three consecutive terms.
