Fatema Begum, 28, wife of Sheikh Rehmatullah alias Masum alias Sajid, was arrested by Detective Branch (DB) of police from Keraniganj on Friday.
The West Bengal Police earlier nabbed Sajid, the prime suspect in the Burdwan bomb blast case. Sajid is a resident of Lahorbari of Farajikandi in Narayanganj.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of DB police arrested Fatema from a house of her relative in Keraniganj in early hours of Friday, DB police sources said.
She was taken to the DB office for interrogation.
Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Sajid’s brother Mohammad Monayem alias Monowar Hossain alias Mona, 30, an employee of a local welding workshop, to interrogate him about his involvement in militant activities.
