Saint Gregory’s High School and Dhanmondi Tutorial moved to the final of the Boys’ Group of the Polar Ice cream 22nd School Handball Tournament on Sunday.
In the day’s first semifinal, Saint Gregory’s High School defeated Dhaka Residential Model School & College by 25-6 goals at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
In the day’s second semifinal, Dhanmondi Tutorial outplayed Play-Pen by 17-4 goals at the same venue.
Saint Gregory’s High School will take on Dhanmondi Tutorial in the final tomorrow at 3.00 pm at the same venue.
In the day’s first quarterfinal match of the Girls’ Group, Sunny Dale drubbed Bangla Bazar Government High School by 9-1 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s second quarterfinal match, Dhanmondi Tutorial overwhelmed Shaheed Nabi High School by 13-5 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s third quarterfinal, Scholastica eased past Green Herald International School by 11-1 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s fourth quarterfinal match, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College thrashed Shaheed Anwar Girls’ College by 17-2 goals at the same venue.
Today Sunny Dale will face Dhanmondi Tutorial in the first semifinal at 12.00 noon while Scholastica will meet Viqarunnisa Noon School & College in the second semifinal at 1.00 pm at the same venue.
