Saint Gregory’s School emerged champions in the boy’s group of the Pran Bubble Gum Inter-School Basketball Tournament beating Saint Nicolas High School by 34-19 points in the final at Dhanmondi Basketball gymnasium on Saturday.
The winners led the first half by 20-11 points.
In the girls group, Sunbeams School clinched the title beating Kishoreganj Arjat Aturjan High School by 12-4 points at the same venue in the day.
Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Kazi Akhteruddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the closing function and distributed the prizes.
Shakawat Ahmed, Head of the Marketing of the tournament’s sponsor Pran Confectionaries, was present as the special guest.
