A mobile court has awarded seven days imprisonment to a broker when he was misleading innocent people in the name of providing services in favour of the office of the assistant commissioner of Land in Sailkupa.
The arrested was Abdul Majid, son of late Yar Uddin of Bisnudia village of Sailkupa Upazila in Jhenaidah.
Assistant Commissioner of Land, who is also an executive magistrate in Sailkupa Sumi Majumder said, Abdul majid had been misleading people and collecting money from some innocent people in the upazila for a long time assuring them of “quicker services”.
When he was collecting money, was caught red handed on Wednesday afternoon. The drive of the mobile court will continue keeping the office of the assistant commissioner of Land in Sailkupa corruption and broker-free provide services to the people, AC Land said.
