Md. Saiful Islam working in Baruda Upazila of Comilla has been elected as the best Upazila Secondary Education Officer of Chittagong Division for the fourth time.
After the Chittagong divisional competition on the occasion of National Education Week 2022, he was declared as the best Upazila Secondary Education Officer. Earlier, he was selected as the best Upazila Secondary Education Officer of Chittagong Division at the national level in 2019 and in 2016 and 2017. In 2016, he was awarded the Education Leadership Award at the Cox’s Bazar Teachers’ Conference organized by the A2I of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Education. He is known as a meritorious officer rich in ICT knowledge. He was born in a Muslim family in Hossainpur village of Comilla Sadar Dakshin Upazila. His father’s name was Ali Ahmed.
