Promising opener Saif Hasan has tested positive for coronavirus again.
Earlier, Saif Hasan and Trainer of Bangladesh Cricket team Nick Lee was tested positive for Covid-19 test. They had take in seven-day quarantine. Later, They underwent Covid-19 test and Nick Lee became negative for coronavirus. But, Saif Hasan tested positive for coronavirus again. So, Saif Hasan cannot take part now in the group-in training programme at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
Saif Hasan has to wait for another Covid-19 test.
Chief Physician of BCB Dr Debashis Chowdhury said, ” Saif Hasan is doing well. He has taken in 14-day isolation before undergoes his Covid-19 test. I am hoping that he will be totally okay soon.”
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket team’s tour of Sri Lanka is uncertain as Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) stated to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) that Bangladesh Cricket team have to take in 14-day quarantine in Sri Lanka.
On the other hand, BCB said to SLC Bangladesh Cricket team will take seven-day quarantine if Bangladesh Cricket team will tour in Sri Lanka.
