Saif Sporting Club will take on Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited in the big match of second leg of the Bangladesh Premier League Football scheduled to be held today at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
The match kicks off at 4.00pm.
The Federation Cup runners-up Saif Sporting Club currently stood at fourth position in the points table with 23 points from 13 matches while the traditional black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited placed at sixth position in the points table with 22 points from 13 outings.
Earlier, Mohammedan SC beat Arambagh by 2-1 goals, while Saif Sporting Club were forced Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society to play a goalless draw in both their respective opening second leg matches.
On the second match of today, Arambagh Krira Sangha will meet Chittagong Abahani Limited that kicks-off at 7.00pm at the same venue.
The port city team Chattogram Abahani Limited started their second leg of the league with not a comfortable position as they stood at seventh position with 19 points from 13 matches while bottom-ranked Arambagh, who already faced relegation, have one point from the same number of outings.
Earlier, Chattogram Abahani Limited lost to Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club by 1-3 goals ,while Arambagh went down a 1-2 goals defeat to Mohammedan, in both their respective opening second round matches of the league.
In the third match of today’s fixture, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will face Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra which begins at 9.00pm at the BNS.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, currently stood at second position in the points table with 29 points from 13 matches while the freedom fighters Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, who will start their second leg taking on Sheikh Jamal today, placed at tenth position with nine points from 12 matches.
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, the title aspirant of the league, earlier made a winning start in their opening second leg of the league beating Chattogram Abahani Limited by 3-1 goals.
