Newcomers Saif Sporting Club earned a facile 2-0 goal victory over lowly Muktijoddha Sangsad KC in the 15th round match of the Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Thursday.
After a barren first half, Sheringham put Saif SC ahead in the 47th minute while Motin confirmed the Saif SC convincing win adding one more goal in the stoppage of the match.
Despite the day’s victory, Saif SC remained at the 4th slot in the 12-team league securing 30 points from 15 encounters while the freedom fighters team Muktijoddha also remained at 11th slot with their previous credit of eight points from 15 matches.
