The only match of the Saif PowerTec Dhaka Metropolis Senior Division Football League ended in a dull goalless draw as Badda Jagoroni Sangshad and PWD Sporting Club failed to score on Sunday’s match’s at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium.
A total of 12 metropolis teams are taking part in the single league basis, sponsored by Siaf Powertec Limited. Each participating team in the league was given participation money.
After the league matches, the highest points achiever top two teams will be the champions and runners-up in the league and will be promoted to the Bangladesh Championship Football League while the two bottom-ranked teams will be relegated to Second Division Football League.
The participating teams are Wari Club, Badda Jagoroni Sangsad, Jatrabari Krira Chakra, Basabo Tarun Sangha, Dhaka Wanderers Club, Mohakhalai Ekadash, Dhaka United Sporting Club, Swadhinata Krira Sangha, Friends Social Welfare Organisation, Bangladesh Boys Club, PWD SC and Sadharan Bima Krira Sangstha.
