Saif Sporting Club blanked Brothers Union Club by four goals to nil in their match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Saif Sporting Club took the fourth position in the points table bagging 22 points from 12 matches, while Brothers Union took the 12th spot in the points table earning five points from as many matches.
Yasin of Saif Sporting Club put his team ahead in the 1st minute of the match.
Saif’s Nigerian recruit Keneth doubled the margin in the 19th minute of the game.
After the lemon-break, Saif’s Nigerian midfielder John made it 3-0 in the 73rd minute of the clash.
John sealed the fate of the match (4-0) in the 84th minute of the game.
Meanwhile, Rahmatganj MFS thrashed Arambagh Krira Sangha by 4-1 goals in the day’s other BPL match at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
Mehbub of Rahmatganj MFS scored two goals, while Nihat and Khorshed netted one goal each.
On the other hand, Arambagh’s Ivory Coast recruit Christopher pulled off one.
