Actor Saif Ali Khan has spoken about playing Raavan in his upcoming mythological movie Adipurush. He said that essaying the character with ten heads ‘is one of the cool things’ about the film for him. He also said that for the character everything comes from vanity. The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and directed by Om Raut, is a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. It also features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh. The movie is slated for a theatrical release on August 11, 2022. In an interview with Film Companion, Saif said that the character of Raavan will be “larger than (he is).”
