On the occasion of the celebration of National Fisheries Week-2021, various materials have been distributed among the four groups of beneficiary fish farmers on the sixth day of the program taken by the office of Saidpur Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer in Nilphamari. The materials were distributed at the Upazila Parishad office on Thursday at the initiative of the Senior Upazila Fisheries Department.
Saidpur Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Moksedul Momin was present as the Chief Guest. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahmudul Hasan, Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer Sunny Khan Majlis, Upazila Agriculture Officer Shahina Begum, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Nurunnahar Shahjadi, Upazila Election Officer Rabiul Alam, Assistant Fisheries Officer Khagendra Nath Roy were present.
On that day, lime and sorghum khail were distributed among the four groups of benefited fish farmers of the upazila. Md. Moksedul Momin handed over the materials to the beneficiaries.
The beneficiary fish groups are Kujipukur Fisherman Group of Kamarpukur Union, Kamarpukur Guchhgram Fishery Group, Chikli Asrayan Project Pond Fish Farmer Group and Talpukur Fish Farmer Group of Khatamdhupur Union.
On the seventh day of the various programs undertaken by the office of the Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer on the occasion of National Fisheries Week – 2021, there is an exchange of views between the district level officials and the closing ceremony of the Fisheries Week with the district level officials through video conferencing.
