Sahajoddha Muktijoddha Command (SMC) on Friday organised a discussion meeting and poem recitation programme dedicated to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the National Mourning day in the Sagar-Rumi Auditorium of the Dhaka Reporters Unity.
Khan Nazrul Islam Hannan, President over the SMC presided at the programme while Hamidul Alam Sakha, General Secretary of the organization, moderated the programme.
Former Vice-Chancellor of Jahangir Nagar University Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain was present as the chief guest, while Bangladesh Bank’s Executive Director Mizanur Rahman Joddar, Jagannath University Professor Arun Kumar Goswami, Journalist Mollah Jalal, Quddus Afrad, Hamid Mohammad Jasim, Principal Sharif Sadi, Zahid Hossain Nipu, Principal ABM Abdullah, Rhymester Anjir Liton, Poet Mafida Akbar, Professor Nazim Uddin Talukdar, Poet Saurav Jahangir, Subrata Shekhor Bhakta, Sheikh Lutfar Rahman and Poet Chowdhury Nurul Huda were present as special guests on the programme.
