Mohd. Safwan Choudhury has been re-elected as Vice Chairman of Bank Asia at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank recently.
He is an eminent industrialist of the country. He is a former President of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Mr. Choudhury is the Managing Director of M. Ahmed Tea and Lands Co. Ltd, Phulbari Tea Estates Ltd., M. Ahmed Cold Storage Ltd, Premier Dyeing & Calendering Ltd. and M. Ahmed Food & Spices Ltd.
He also served as the Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association. He is the President of FIVDB, an NGO providing primary education to the under privileged children.
