Mohd Safwan Choudhury has been re-elected as Vice Chairman of Bank Asia Limited at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank held recently, said a press release.
Mohd Safwan Choudhury is an eminent industrialist of the country. Former President of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Managing Director of M. Ahmed Tea and Lands Company Limited, Phulbari Tea Estates Limited, M Ahmed Cold Storage Limited, Premier Dyeing and & Calendering Limited and M. Ahmed Food & Spices Limited.
He also served as the Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association. He is the President of FIVDB, an NGO providing primary education to the under privileged children.
