The students of 23rd batch of Chittagong University formed human chain in front of Shilpakala Academy in city on Monday demanding safe roads in city.
Huge numbers of professionals also joined the human chain, sources said.
Mentionable that student of 23rd batch of CU Jahin Fiyaz Hoque(20) was killed in road incident in front of Shilpakala Academy on Eid-ul- Azha day.
Jahin was the son of Jahirul Hoque and the school teacher Nafiza Hoque.
Among others, noted business personality SM Abu Tayub,PP Abul Hashem, journalist Nazimuddin Shamal, Businessman Sirajul Islam, ward councilor Giasuddin spoke in the human chain. Besides, senior journalist of Chattagram Mancha Kamrul Habib, Banker Asiful Hoque, Journo of Bangladesh Paritidin Saiful Islam, general secretary of Nirapad Sarak Chai Shafiq Ahmed, organiser Mahmudur Rahman Shaon, Enamul Hoque expressed solidarity to the human chain, sources said.
