Safa Kabir is one of the popular names in showbiz now. Viewers love her acting. In every play, Safa tries to present her level best. Now she gets many offers to work but she does not agree because if she works she has to remain busy round the month. In fact, she works selectively; she prefers to work in TV plays and short films.
Though Safa Kabir started her career in media through performing as a model in TV commercials but later became engaged with acting in TV plays.
After a break of 17 months, Safa performed as model in a TVC. On Tuesday and Wednesday, she took part in shooting of a big budget TVC at Coke Factory in the capital’s Mirpur area. Directed by Russell Shikder Safa performed in a TVC of Fair & Lovely.
While talking in this regard Safa Kabir told this correspondent, “I worked in many TVCs but budget of this TVC is huge. So, the work became good. Earlier, I worked under Russell Shikder’s direction in a TV play. For the first time I worked under his direction in a TVC. He has made the TVC cordially. I am very much optimistic about the TVC.”
Safa also mentioned that the TVC has been made only for online telecasting. It will go on air soon.
Meanwhile, she will remain at live from 5:00pm to 6:00pm today at online shopping, daraz. From 8:00pm to 9:00pm she will also present at another live on Airtel. She has already completed shooting of two plays directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi and Sayeed Rinku. Therefore, very soon she will also work in two plays to be directed by Imraul Rafat and Mabrur Rashid Bannah, she added.
It is noted that Safa Kabir came into limelight to perform in a TVC of Pran Peanut Bar but her first performed TVC was Ashfaq-uz-Zaman Bipul’s Airtel. In last year June, Safa last performed as model with Yash Rohan in a TVC of an ice-cream directed by Irin. Like other actresses, she has intention to work in big screen but there must have good script and role, Safa also said.
