ASM Nayeem FCA, Past President and Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) has been appointed as Vice-President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) for the year 2016.
Nayeem is a Partner of ACNABIN Chartered Accountants (an Independent member firm of Baker Tilly International). He is Board Member of a number of private and joint venture companies in Bangladesh. He is a former Director of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd., Republic Insurance Company Ltd., Sonali Bank Ltd. and Agrani Bank Ltd. He is also a former Chairman of Bangladesh Shipping Agents Association and Port Users Forum of Bangladesh.
Nayeem is a Council Member of ICAB since1998. He is also the Chairman of Quality Assurance Board of ICAB and the Chairman of Committee on Professional Ethics and Independence of SAFA.
