Sadman stars as BD A beat Ireland A by 5-wicket in unofficial Test

Bangladesh A recorded a five-wicket victory over touring Ireland A team in the lone unofficial four-day match held on Saturday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet.
Bangladesh A resumed their second innings with overnight score at 27 for 2 and reached home for the loss of five wickets.
Bangladesh lost their two overnight batsmen – Al-Amin (24) and Sadman Islam (25) – early in the fourth day morning with the team’s total stuck at 60 for 4 in the score board.
Tigers were in some sort of trouble. But a solid 71-runs partnership between Yasir Ali and Nurul Hasan in the fifth wicket stand led Bangladesh towards the comfortable victory win. Nurul was dismissed after scoring 31 while Yasir Ali hit the winning shot and remained unbeaten with 47 till the end of the innings. Mcbrine grabbed four wickets conceding 63 for Ireland A.
The 5-match ODI series between Bangladesh A and Ireland A will start from Tuesday (October 17) at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium (SKICS), Cox’s Bazar.
