Sadharan Bima and Sonali Bank recorded wins in their respective Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League matches on Thursday.
In the day’s first match, Sadharan Bima beat Dhaka Wanderers Club by 6-2 goals at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Faisal Hossain, Rejowan Ahmed of Sadharan Bima scored two goals each and their teammates Yoga Singh, Bishal successfully struck one time each on the board.
Amrit Paul Singh, Zahid Hossain returned one each for the losers.
In the day’s second match, Sonali Bank defeated Bangladesh Police by 6-1 goals at the same venue.
Dewan Islam Imon of Sonali Bank scored two goals and his teammates Tanjim Ahmed, Rajib Das, Prosenjit Roy, Irfanul Haque netted one goal each.
Jamil Bin Talib pulled off one for the losers.
