Captain of Bangladesh Women’s Football team Sabina Khatun will go to Maldives to take part in Futsal (five-a-side football competition) in Maldives. She will play for Maldives Army team in that football competition, which will start in the mid of the November. Sabina Khatun, who is famous as ‘Goal Machine’ will leave for Male, the capital city of Maldives within one week.
Striker Sabina Khatun said, ” I shall go to Maldives again. This is for the fourth time, I shall go to Maldives. I hope I shall perform well there.”
Sabina Khatun played Maldives in 2015 for Maldives Defence Force Club. Then, she played for Maldives Army in the Maldives Women’s Football League and Futsal in 2016. She scored a good number of goals in those competitions.
She also took part in the India Women’s Football League in 2018. She scored six goals in seven matches for Sethu FC.
