Sabina Khatun and Krishna Rani left the city for Kolkata to take part in the Indian Women’s League. After reaching Kolkata, they will leave for Guwahati and their final destiny is Shillong.
Sethu FC of Tamil Nadu have recruited Sabina and Krishna Rani to play for their team in the League.
Sabina and Krishna Rani applied for their visas on March 7. All India Football Federation submitted a letter to Indian High Commission on March 15. But the two famous female footballers did not get their visas due to complication. However, Sabina and Krishna received their vises on Sunday.
After getting visas, Sabina and Krishna Rani went to Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House to talk to BFF boss Kazi Salahuddin on Sunday afternoon.
Salahuddin said to them, ” You should play well with courage. Your performance will be a brand of Bangladesh’s football. So, keep courage.”
If everything goes well Sabina and Krishna will play their first match in Indian Women’s League on Thursday.
