Once popular theatre actress Saberi Alam Motaher is now engaged with acting in TV plays. She mostly gives time to acting in drama serial now. Besides this, when she manages time, Saberi acts in special days’ plays.
While asking her about the feelings to acting in the small screen Saberi told this correspondent, “I always try to enjoy my profession, acting. I am lucky that talented directors give me the opportunity to act in challenging roles in their plays. I always try my level best to acting.”
On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha, Saberi has already finished shooting of Dipu Ashraf’s play Theatrewala. Therefore, she will also work in Jubayer Ibne Bakar, Aniruddho Russell, Saikat Reza Mahmud and Komol Chowdhury’s plays on the occasion of coming Eid, she said.
While working with Dhaka Theatre in 1994 Saberi got married. For this reason, she couldn’t continue acting in media. After a long time break, in 2007, she again came into limelight to perform as a model in a television commercial of Banglalink under the direction of Mostafa Sarwar Farooki.
