Saad Uddin of Bangladesh preliminary football squad has been ruled out from the squad due to injury. Earlier, goalkeeper Ashraful Islam Rana was ruled out from the squad due to injury. Bangladesh preliminary football squad have been practising at the Bangabandhu National Stadium marking the upcoming Group-E matches of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers scheduled to be held at Doha, the capital city of Qatar.
Saad Uddin wrote in his Facebook, ” I have to leave the coaching camp due to injury. I didn’t feel severe problem when I got injury first time. But our physicians advised me not to continue practice. I was eagerly waiting to compete in the matches of FIFA World Cup qualifiers. But I couldn’t play in those matches for bad luck. Keep me in your prayers as I can return to football again.”
It may be mentioned that Bangladesh made a draw against their stronger opponents India in the first leg of the Group-E match of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Koklata, the former capital city of India. Saad Uddin scored a goal in that match and Bangladesh had a 1-0 lead in the 88th minute of the play. Later, India leveled the margin.
