Teachers of Rajshahi University (RU) on Monday threatened for launching tougher movement again demanding justice to brutal murder of Prof AFM Rezaul Karim Siddiquee if the assurance given by the ministers is
not met as soon as possible.
Rajshahi University Teachers Association (RUTA) postponed their movement that continued for 27 days at stretch on May 19 after getting assurance from Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid and Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque to arrest the culprits without any delay.
Addressing at a protest rally on May 14 at RU, Home boss said, investigation into Prof Rezaul Killing had reached at final stage and the perpetrators will be arrested soon.
