The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bangladesh, Alexander A Nikolaev, met Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad, Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, here on Sunday. The Ambassador said that bilateral relations between the two countries were excellent.
He hoped that it will expand further in future and the Bangladesh parliament will be with Russia. Besides, relations between the parliamentarians of the two countries will be increasingly warm in the years to come. This will benefit democracy and the people of the two countries.
The Speaker apprised him of the activities in parliament and told him that it was extremely lively with the active participation of the opposition.
