Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain on Sunday said the government is implementing various programmes to ensure better civic amenities for improving living standard of rural people.
“We are developing infrastructural facilities alongside providing health and educational opportunities to improve living standard of rural people,” he told a function in Bhuangamari upazila parishad at Kurigram district, an official release said.
At the function, the minister inaugurated the new electronic method for distributing money among the beneficiaries under the Income Support for the Poorest Project (ISPP).

The main objective of the ISPP programme, jointly funded by the Local

for under-five children and provide healthcare facilities to pregnant
mothers.
