Rural games to be held today marking Pohela Boishakh

A total of 12 rural games will be held today at the Suhrawardy Udyan marking the Pohela Boishakh.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder will inaugurate the rural games competition as the chief guest at the Suhrawardy Udyan today at 12.00 Noon.
Bangladesh Country Games Association will arrange the rural games competitions, which represent our heritage. Ha-do-do, Dariabandha, Gollachut, Bouchee, Rope Jump, Cockfight and many other games will be held at the Udyan.
Dhaka Commerce College, Quantum Foundation of Lama of Bandarban, Cosmo School, Cambrian College, Narayanganj College and many other schools and colleges will take part in the competition.
President of Bangladesh Country Games Association (BCGA) and noted television personality Shykh Seraj, General Secretary of BCGA Faiz Ahmed will be present at the time.
