Channel i is being aired a special music related show titled Palki based on Ekushey and National Film Award winner noted lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar written songs for several years. Daughter of Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Dithi Anwar is hosting this show. Basically Gazi Mazharul Anwar written songs are to be presented in voices of different singers in the programme.
Country’s leading keyboard artiste Ruptanu Rupu has been working in this programme with full dedication. Despite having any other schedule he never misses recording schedule of Palki. According to him, this show is respectable and likable programme for him. The musicians who perform in this show they also love Ruptanu Rupu. His dedication came into today’s noted instrumental artiste, Ruptanu Rupu.
While talking about him Gazi Mazharul Anwar said, “Palki and Ruptanu are bondage. When I see him on the set of Palki I feel good. He is a dedicated musician. Always pray for him as he remains well.”
Dithi Anwar said, “Ruptanuda is a dependable artiste to us. He always tries to modernise the music compositions keeping original flavor of my father written songs. Ruptanu is one of the leading keyboard artistes of our country. I have respect and love for him.”
Hailed from Chattogram, Ruptanu Rupu shared his feelings by this way, “Basically I like the programme Palki because in each episode Gazi Mazharul Anwar Sir remains present in the show. Legendary to present generation’s singers perform in this show. I feel lucky to be present in this show and also to play keyboard with the songs. I am grateful to Palki family. Today is my birthday. Everybody pray for me as I can remain well.” In keyboard playing, Ustad Debashish Saha is mentor of Ruptanu Rupu. He has been working as keyboard artiste since 1993. He played keyboard maximum time with late Andrew Kishore, late Subir Nandi, Runa Laila and Sabina Yasmin in his career. i
