Wikipedia has recently names of 30 Bangalis for their activities and contributions. Internationally renowned Bangladeshi singer Runa Laila’s name took place in that list. For this reason, Runa is very much delighted.
While talking in this regard she told this correspondent, “At first, I could not believe my name took place in that list in fact the names of Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Amartya Sen, among others there. I am very much excited and also delighted. I am grateful to my fans because for them I have become Runa Laila. I have come into this position. Everybody pray for me.”
