Few days ago, National Film Award winner actress Rumana Alan Khan has returned to Bangladesh from USA. This time she came to Bangladesh to celebrate Eid.
Only few close personnel of Rumana were informed about her returning but Rumana also informed some directors later. Some of them offered her to acting in Eid works but she did not show any interest in this regard.
Rumana said, “In fact, I am really engaged with my family life in USA now. I came here only to pass times with my parents and other members of my family. So, I have really no interest for acting right now. Alhamdulillah, I am happy now. Due to situation I have no intention to return to Bangladesh permanently. I have to stand up in front of camera anytime. There is no guaranty in anybody’s life. Everything is happened with the wish of Allah.”
Rumana informed that in Dhaka, she is mostly passing her times with her father Mostaq Ahmed Khan and mother Samiunnahar. But she is trying to pass time with her media friends.
Rumana got the National Film Award for first time to act in Zakir Hossain Raju’s movie Bhalobashley Ghor Bandha Jaina. In 2014, she last acted against Apurba in Rahmatullah Tuhin directed a play titled Joto Durey Jabey Bondhu. Later she did not seen to act either in big or small screen.
Rumana also mentioned that in the middle of this month she will return to USA.
