Noted singer Rumana Islam is now in Kolkata.
In the meantime, her new original track titled
Jedin Chole Jete Cheyechhile Tumi was released
on a YouTube channel on Thursday evening.
The song is composed by Ovi Moinuddin. Yousuf Ahmed Khan gave direction of music of the song, while Eamin Alan has made its music video.
While sharing her feelings after releasing her new original song Rumana Islam told this correspondent over mobile phone from Kolkata on Friday, “I have liked the song Jedin Chole Jete Cheyechhile Tumi very much. I am really lucky because in my career I got the opportunity to render some good songs. But it is true that few numbers of songs were composed to keep in mind my voice. But my newly released song was composed for my voice. Lyrics and tunes of the song proved this thing. The song has become really nice. After releasing the song, I got good response from some people who are close to mine. After passing some days, I will get more response as I believe.”
Rumana lastly lent her voice for a song titled Ekhono Srabon Jhorai, which lyrics were written by Jamal Hossain and music was composed by Ujjal Sinha. Fuad Al Muktadir composed a song titled Chhotto Ei Buke has been released recently. Rumana Islam didn’t find this song for many days, according to the singer. In playback song, Rumana Islam started career through lending voice in her father Khan Ataur Rahman’s movie Din Jai Kotha Thake. During childhood, Rumana rendered the song Mon majhi tor boitha nere ami ar baite parlam na for that movie. During childhood, she also acted in movie Apon Por.
