Country’s one of the noted singers Rumana Islam’s favourite song is Ektu Kachhe Ashona. She rendered this song eight years ago. Composed by Fuad Al Muktadir, Upol wrote lyrics of the song. After a break of eight years, Rumana is going to present her rendered this song to her fans. Rumana is very much excited to release her favourite song. She said, “Eight years ago, I worked for the song Ektu Kachhe Ashona. After completing work of the song, its composer Fuad went abroad. I lost the song later. Lyrics and tunes of the song were so nice that it touched my mind. So, I have arranged the music composition of the song in new way. Within very soon after making music video of the song, I am going to release it on YouTube channel of a reputed company. In fact, this song is something relief to me during ongoing bad times of corona pandemic. I am expecting to release the song soon. J K Majlish has arranged the music of the song in new way.”
Ekta Mon was Rumana Islam’s last released song. Singer and music composer Muhin Khan composed the song under the lyrics written by Jamal Hossain. To create awareness among the corona patients, Rumana also
rendered a song titled Bhoy peona bhoy peona Jodi hoi
corona, which lyrics were written by singer Agun and tunes were composed by late Farid Ahmed. She also
rendered another song titled Prokritir Obhiman on coronavirus. Lyrics of the song were written by Adhora Jahan and tunes were also composed by late Farid Ahmed.
Rumana Islam got primary training in music from Ustad PC Gomez. For last two years, she has been receiving lessons from Anil Kumar Saha. Ruman first acted in late Jafar Iqbal-starrer movie Apon Por. She lent her voice for play-back song for movie Din Jai Kotha Thake.
