Vice Chairman of BNP and former Minister Abdullah al Noman said autocracy was established by the ruling party killing democracy .
He said in 1975 , Awami League established one party rule – BAKSAL , burring the democracy . He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina assumed the state power with voterless election on January 5, 2014 .
He also mentioned that people is the source of power and no autocrat govt could not sustain power for long .
He said this while addressing the condolence meeting of former Vice Chancellor of Islami University and President of Zia Parishad Dr. Enamul Hoque at Muslim Hall in city as chief guest.
Elderly lawyer and convenor of the Civic condolence meeting Advocate Kabir chowdhury presided over the meeting. BNP Central Organizing Secretary and former Ambassador Golam Akbar Khondakar graced the occasion as special guest and principal speaker. Among others, son of the Dr. Enamul Hoque Nurul Mostafa, former vice president of North district BNP Mohiuddin Ahmed, Vice President Younus Chowdhury, former President of North District unit Salahuddin, Ishaque Kader Chowdhury spoke on the occasion.
