High Court Bench of the Supreme court of Bangladesh issued statuesque over the construction of swimming pool at outer stadium premises in Chittagong .
High court issued rule following the writ petition . After hearing the petition Justice Syed Md. Dastagir Hossain and Justice Ataur Rahman Khan bench gave this order of Rule Nishi on Secretary of DOE, Sports Ministry, Mayor of Chittagong, Director General of DOE, Chairman CDAm Chittagong DC, Chittagong SP and Chittagong Krira Sangstha.
High court asked these organization to explain why swimming pool is being constructed defying the existing laws of the environment and damaging the image of the open space and playing ground within the four weeks time.
Adv Asaduzzaman Siddiqui on behalf of the Human Rights for Peace filed the writ before the court. Adv Manzil Morshed defended the writ petitioner, sorces said.
