Rajshahi University Journalist Association (RUJA) gets a fifteen-member new executive committee for the year 2015-16.
MA Sayeed Shuvo of The Daily Star elected as president, while Mahbub Alam of Prothom Alo as general secretary.
The outgoing president of RUJA Shakir Ahmad declared the committee on Tuesday at its office.
The other members of the committee are vice-presidents Sujan Nazeer of Shokaler Khabor and Amzad Hossain of Amader Somoy, joint-secretary Rafiqul Islam of local Sonar Desh, organising secretary Anisur Rahman Rony of Jaijaidin, Tresurer Rokon Rakib of Kaler Kantha, office secretary Hasan Adib of Jugantor, publicity and publication secretary Robiul Islam Robi of The New Nation, cultural secretary Mostafiz Misu of Alokito Bangladesh, information-technology secretary Sazid Manik of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), sports secretary Abu Jafor of Radio Padma, programme and planning secretary Mehedi Hasan of Risingbd.com and executive member-1 and 2 are Mustafiz Rony of The Daily Observer and Sayed Hasan Raj of Notunmatra24.com respectively.
