Rajshahi University Journalist Association (RUJA) on Wednesday accorded reception to the freshers of Mass Communication And Journalism Department.
The programme was held at RUJA office with its president Hasan Adib, university reporter of Daily Jugantor with the chair.
Around 50 students got reception at the programmed that was conducted by Mustafiz Rony of Daily Samakal, general secretary of RUJA.
RUJA vice president Abu Jafor of Radio Padma delivered welcome speech while organizing secretary Rabiul Islam Robi of Daily New Nation spoke about ABC of RUJA at the programme.
Addressing the programme, RU public relation administrator Prof Dr. Moshiur Rahman urged the freshers to get involved with journalism saying this occupation perhaps the best way you can serve your country.
Among others, RU students adviser Prof Mizanur Rahman, lecturer of MCJ dept Mamun Abdul Kaium, Rajshahi Union of Journalist president and general secretary Kazi Shahed and Mamunur Rashid respectively spoke at the programme.
