Both the semi-finals of the eighth First Security Islami Bank College Rugby competition will be held today (Saturday) at Government Physical Education College Ground in the city’s Mohammadpur.
On the day, Adamjee Cantonment College will take on Maestro Crown College in the first semi-final at 9 am while Kabi Nazrul College meet Government Bangla College in the second semis at 9.30 am. The final of the competition is slated on Sunday (August 6) at the same venue at 11 am.
Meanwhile in the day’s matches, Government Bangla College beat Dhaka Imperial College by 10-0, Kazi Nazrul Government College outclassed St Gregory’s High School & College by 10-0 points and Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College played out to a 5-5 draw with Maestro Crown College.
A total of 11 metropolis colleges are taking part in the four-day meet, sponsored by First Security Islami Bank and organised by Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU).
