The rugby under-16 players’ training programme inaugurated on Saturday at Jalal stadium in Habiganj. Habiganj Deputy Commissioner Sabina Alam formally inaugurated the seven-day progrrame as the chief guest.
Rugby Federation member M Dwin Islam was also present during the opening ceremony, organized by National Sports Council in cooperation of Habiganj District Sports Association.
The training course will continue till September 8. Sixty trainees are taking part in the course that is conducted by level one trainer Basu Dev Roy.
Earlier, the training progrrame held in ten districts across the country. The districts are Chittagong, Satkhira, Jamalpur, Faridpur, Madaripur, Narayanganj, Rangpur , Narail, Jessore and Dinajpur said a rugby federation press release today (Saturday).
