The rugby under-16 players’ training programme inaugurated on Thursday last in Dinajpur district stadium.
Dinajpur District Sports Association vice president Azizul Haque formally inaugurated the seven-day programme as the chief guest, organized by National Sports Council in cooperation of Dinajpur District Sports Association. The training course will continue till August 31.
Sixty trainees are taking part in the course that is conducted by level one trainer Proshanto Kerkata.
Earlier, the rugby federation conducted the training programmee in eight districts. The districts are Chittagong, Faridpur, Satkhira, Jamalpur, Madaripur, Narayanganj, Rangpur and Narail, said a rugby federation press release.
