The rugby under-16 training programme for the talented rugby players began on Thursday in Bagerhat district, said a rugby federation press release today.
Bagerhat District Sports Association (DSA) general secretary Sordar Selim Ahmed formally inaugurated the seven-day progrrame as chief guest, organised by National Sports Council in cooperation of Bagerhat DSA.
Bagerhat DSA members Tanuji Nag, Jatindra Nath Biswas, Sardar Abul Kalam Mintu and M Azim Hawlader were present as special guests.
Level one trainer Hossain Ahmed Jonny is conducting the course participated by 60 trainees.
Earlier, the training progrrame was held in ten districts across the country. The districts are Chittagong, Faridpur, Satkhira, Jamalpur, Madaripur, Narayanganj, Rangpur, Narail, Jessore and Dinajpur.
