Bangladesh rugby team will play their two Pool D matches of the Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy scheduled to be held today (Friday) at Aspire Rugby Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Bangladesh will play their opening group match against Iran and then face Thailand in their second and last group match which will be held on the same day in the afternoon. An eleven-member Bangladesh rugby team left Dhaka for Qatar this morning to take part in the tournament scheduled to be held on March 3-4 in Doha. Eleven countries, split into four groups, will take part in the meet. Bangladesh is going to represent in the tournament for the second time after their successful participation in the inaugural tournament held in Chennai, India last year.
