Member of Bangladesh National Cricket team Rubel Hossain got bail on Tuesday.
Film actress Naznin Akhter Happy sued against the pacer that there was an affair with them and she was raped by him.
SM Ashiqur Rahman, Magistrate of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court granted Runel’s bail on Tuesday.
Rubel’s lawyer Moniruzzanan Azad confirmed this matter yesterday.
Earlier, Rubel Hossain arrived at the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court as his bail, which was given by High Court came to an end. Pleaders of Rubel Hossain appealed for his bail in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
Earlier, the High Court Bench which was consists of Justice Syed AB Mahmudul Haque and Justice Akram Hossain Chowdhury granted Rubel Hossain advance four-week bail in that case. Besides, the Court ordered him to surrender in the lower court by this time.
Actress Happy filed a case against Rubel Hossain on December 13 at the Mirpur Police Station according to 9/1 section. Happy sued against Rubel according to women, children repression prevention act.
Happy said, “I have an affair with Rubel Hossain for nine months. Rubel gave me commitment that he would marry me. Then he built a physical connection with me. Later, I created pressure to marry me. But he refused to do that. So, I sued against him.”
