Pacer Rubel Hoosain is hopeful that he will play in the upcoming Champions Trophy, which is scheduled to be held from first week of June in England. Rubel Hossain was in the 15-member squad of Bangladesh Cricket team, which played a two-match Test series, three-match ODI series and two-match Twenty20 International series against their counterpart Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka recently. But, Rubel Hossain did not get any chance to play any match against Sri Lanka. So, he is little bit frustrated but he is determined to play in the Champions Trophy showing a notable performance in the ensuing Dhaka Premier League.
Rubel Hossain took part at the practice session of Prime Bank Club at the BCB-NCA ground on Sunday. Rubel said to the newsmen, ” My target is to play a good cricket and contribute for win of my club to win match by match. I have to perform well in the league to get chance in the main squad of Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy.”
He said, ” I want to show consistent performance in the league. It is my challenge for me to perform well in all the matches of the league.”
