Vice chancellor of Rajshahi University (RU) Prof Muhammad Mizanuddin expressed deep shock at the death of national professor Dr AF Salauddin Ahmed.
Prof Salauddin died of old age ailments at his Banani residence in Dhaka yesterday morning at the age of 92.
In a condolence message, Prof Mizan said, in his death the nation has lost a great teacher. He will remain alive eternally in the heart of RU family unit.
Prof Mizan prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. Mentionable, Prof Salauddin served as lecturer and professor of history at Rajshahi University, and later as professor of Jahangirnagar University and Dhaka University.
