The two-day ” R & R Aviation President Cup Golf Tournament- 2016″ ended through a colourful ceremony at Rangpur Golf Club in Rangpur Cantonment here on Friday night.
More than 100 contestants of different Golf Clubs from all over the country participated in the male, female, junior and sub-junior groups of the two-day (March 17-18) tournament sponsored by R & R Aviation, a release said.
Rangpur Area Commander, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 66 Infantry Division and President of Rangpur Golf Club Major General Md Masud Razzaque, ndc, afwc, psc, attended the inaugural and concluding ceremonies as chief guest.
The final rounds of the tournament were held at the Golf Ground of Rangpur Cantonment on Friday followed by the prize-giving ceremony at night.
In the Male Group, golfer Brigadier General Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah secured the first position while golfer R C Haider won the best gross award.
Golfer Major General Md Masud Razzaque won the second best gross award while golfer Nafi Fazal became the runner up.
