Staff Reporter :A roundtable discussion meeting on “Our Responsibility to Prevent Human Trafficking with the Spirit of Liberation War” will be held on June 20 (Saturday) in VIP Lounge of the National Press Club.Association for Law Research and Human Rights (Alert) is organizing the roundtable.Association for Law Research and Human Rights President Advocate Md Jahangir Alam Khan will preside over the programme, while Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozzammel Haque will be present there as the chief guest. National Human Rights Commission Chairman Professor Mizanur Rahman and Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice Md Mamotaj Uddin Ahmed will be present as the special guests. Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Miah, Professor Delwar Hossain of Dhaka University, The Editor of Daily Janata Ahsan Ullah, Chairman of Inter-Religious Harmony Society Miah Mujibur Rahman, Chairman of National FF Foundation Dr SM Jahangir Alam, Vice-President of Association for Law Research and Human Rights Lion M W Faruque, Supreme Court Bar Unit Advocate Nasir Uddin Khan Somrat, Advocate Liaquat Ali, Columnist Major General (Rtd) Mohammad Ali Sikder and Freedom Fighter Dr Syeda Badrunnahar Chowdhury will take part in the programme.Besides, Northern University’s Dr Nilima Chowdhury, former Additional Secretary Asit Kumar Mukutmoni, Current Affairs Editor of Channel 24 Rahul Raha, Supreme Court Bar Unit Advocate Md Monir Hossain, President of Bangladesh Swadhinota Parishad Zinnat Ali Khan Zinnah and Secretary General of Amra Nagarbashi Shahadat Hossain Toyel will also be present. Journalist Monoranjan Ghoshal will moderate the meeting.
