New credit system: RUET students go on indefinite strike

UNB, Rajshahi :Students of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) went on an indefinite strike on Saturday demanding cancellation of newly adopted examination system.The students of 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 sessions observed a sit-in programme in front of Shaheed Minar on the campus in the morning boycotting their classes.According to Ruet sources, as per the new system, a student will have to achieve minimum 33 credits out of 40 to pass and move to the next session.As per the...
